Ministry of Transportation, November 14, 2013 – Ontario Government Committed to Keeping Roads Safe: As winter weather arrives across the province, Ontario is reminding drivers to be prepared for challenging driving conditions.
OTTAWA, November 20, 2013 — The Honourable Lisa Raitt, Minister of Transport, today announced important regulations that will enhance the safety of tires manufactured for the Canadian market.
Ontario’s highway service centres are being modernized to improve your travelling experience. Ontario’s new service centres offer quick service dining, convenience retail and fuel services, tourism information, truck facilities, and state-of-the-art washrooms that are fully and easily accessible.
The following newly redeveloped ONroute service centre sites are open 24/7, 365 days/year with full services including fuel, washrooms, parking, food services and a convenience store.
Ministry of Transportation, November 6, 2013 – Ontario has opened two new roundabouts on Highway 7 in the Township of Perth South to improve traffic and safety conditions for local families, businesses and visitors.
The Chatham-Kent Police has arrested a woman for impaired driving. At approximately 01:00 am on the 28th of October 2013, a concerned citizen notified Chatham-Kent Police Service of a possible impaired driver in Wallaceburg. Officers quickly located the motor vehicle.
On October 27th at approx. 2:09 a.m Chatham-Kent officers responded to a suspicious vehicle complaint on Grand ave west in Chatham. Officers located a vehicle with extensive damage that had been operated by a 31 year old Chatham man.
